Summary

In this interactive Christmas skit, three wise men accidentally turn their holy journey into a race. Each one has a different map, a different method, and a very strong opinion about being “right.” A lively Star treats the whole trip like a game show, letting the audience shout directions: “Left!”, “Right!”, or “Follow the camel!”

With wrong turns, named bushes, invisible camels, and shared raisins, the wise men slowly realize that the journey isn’t about winning or getting there first. It’s about following God’s light together. By the end, they choose to walk side by side instead of competing, discovering that the real victory is arriving at the manger with hearts that have learned how to follow.

Cast of Characters

Eliam – Confident, competitive, and very sure his map is always correct. Loves being first, hates being wrong.

Natan – Dramatic, easily worried, and always narrating his own suffering. Complains a lot but has a soft heart.

Zair – Cheerful and clueless in the best way. Carries odd supplies “just in case,” names random objects, and sees the fun in everything.

The Star – Bright, loud, and full of flair. Treats the journey like a grand race show, calls for audience votes, and gently pushes the wise men toward the right lesson.

Audience (The Desert Winds) – Shouts out directions when the Star asks: “LEFT!”, “RIGHT!”, or “FOLLOW THE CAMEL!”

Production Notes

Setting: Simple open stage as a desert. One bright star light or prop upstage. Actors “run” and “travel” using the stage space.
