20-Minute Version |Cast: 5 Actors | Genre: Comedy with Heart
Theme: Influence, Humility, and the True Light of Christmas
Summary
In this playful and thoughtful Christmas skit, three “wise” influencers set out to vlog their way to Bethlehem. Armed with ring lights, phones, and a thirst for followers, they chase a mysterious star that’s trending under #StarChasers.
Along the way, they argue about hashtags, sponsorships, and who gets the best angle for their big “Bethlehem Reveal” video. An on-the-scene Reporter tries to cover the story, while the Bethlehem Guide patiently attempts to manage the chaos.
By the end of Part 1, the influencers begin to realize that not everything is about views and likes—there might be a deeper reason the star is shining at all.
Cast of Characters
Nova – Influencer #1. Over-the-top lifestyle vlogger. Speaks quickly, loves aesthetics, obsessed with the “perfect shot.”
Rio – Influencer #2. Tech and gear reviewer. Logical, snarky, always talking about equipment and analytics.
Skye – Influencer #3. Newer influencer, more sincere than the others. Torn between chasing clout and following something real.
Jordan – Narrator / Reporter. On-camera host who breaks the fourth wall. Juggles serious commentary and comedic asides.
Beth – Bethlehem Guide. Knows the town, the manger, and the story. Calm, grounded, slightly exasperated by the influencers.
