THE TEEN WISE MEN: FINDING THE KING IN REAL LIFE

Length: 15 minutes | Cast: 6–10 Teens
Genre: Comedy with Heart
Themes: Seeking Truth, Modern Distractions, Journey of Faith
Props: Smartphones, maps, backpacks, light-up star, scrolls, messenger bags, small gift boxes

SUMMARY

In this modern, comedic, and heartfelt retelling, three teenage Wise Men receive a mysterious notification:
“A new King has been born. Follow the star.”

Armed with phones, outdated maps, slang, and questionable navigation skills, the teens set out to find the newborn King. Along the journey, they face crowds, Roman-era bureaucracy, teens who’d rather be scrolling than searching, and Herod’s paranoid advisors. Two Wise Men start doubting if the journey is worth it — until one insists:
“If this Child is the new King, then nothing else matters.”

The skit blends humor with meaning as the teens slowly realize that the real search isn't about GPS accuracy but about paying attention to the light that leads them toward truth.
