This serious Easter drama follows Pontius Pilate, the Roman governor, as he wrestles with the fate of Jesus. Torn between political pressure and his own conscience, Pilate struggles to make the right choice. His wife, Flavius, warns him through disturbing dreams, urging him to spare Jesus. However, under pressure from the chief priests and an angry crowd, Pilate ultimately washes his hands of the situation—but history remembers his choice.

Bible Verse: Matthew 27:24 – "I am innocent of this man’s blood."

Cast (5-8 Actors):
Pontius Pilate – The Roman governor, conflicted and torn.
Flavius – Pilate’s wife, warns him through dreams.
Jesus – Calm and silent in the face of judgment.
Chief Priest #1 – Leading the charge to condemn Jesus.
Chief Priest #2 – Supporting the accusations.
Roman Soldier – Brings Jesus before Pilate.
Crowd Members (1-3 actors) – Shouting for Jesus’ crucifixion.

Props:
Simple robes (for all characters)
Basin & pitcher (for Pilate’s handwashing)
Chair or throne (for Pilate’s judgment seat)
