Description
A Roman soldier, Marcus, struggles to reconcile what he witnessed at the crucifixion of Jesus with the story people expect him to tell. As he rehearses for a play under the direction of Kathryn—who wants to stick to a simpler, more accepted version—he shares his firsthand account of the earthquake, the torn temple veil, and his realization that Jesus was truly the Son of God. Through flashbacks and confrontation, Marcus and the others must decide: do they tell the truth, even if it challenges what they once believed?
