Summary: The skit follows a young man who demands his inheritance from his father and leaves to experience the world. After recklessly spending all his money and finding himself in poverty, he returns home, feeling unworthy to be called his father’s son. His father, overjoyed by his return, welcomes him with open arms and celebrates. Meanwhile, the elder son, who stayed and worked faithfully, is upset by the celebration. The father explains that the younger son’s return is a cause for joy because he was “lost and is found.” The skit emphasizes God’s unconditional love and forgiveness.
