WHAT
A warm, funny family-based Advent skit where one patient father attempts to teach the real Christmas story… but his children keep interrupting with their exaggerated, imaginative, and completely “unbiblical” versions of the nativity. From sparkly shoes on Mary, to Santa riding a camel, to wise men bringing candy canes, marshmallows, and video games, chaos erupts as every child tries to “improve” the story.
Through humor and relatable family moments, the father gently guides them back to Scripture, showing that although the children’s ideas are adorable, the greatest gift of Christmas is still Jesus.
THEME
Returning to the truth of Jesus’ birth, even when our own imaginations take over.
