A short, meaningful walk through the history of one church family. A young girl and a teenage girl serve as storytellers — they ask the questions every congregation eventually has to answer: how did we begin, who carried us, and where are we going. Older members step forward and dramatize the founding Sunday, the storm that almost closed the doors, the baptism nobody expected, and the empty pew that turned into a ministry.
Theme — Every church is a long sentence God is still writing — and you are one of the words.
What you get
- Full PDF script — front matter, scenes, stage directions, dialogue (10 min)
- Cast: 6–8 actors (2 storytellers + pastor + 3 senior members + optional offstage voices)
- Minimal staging: a folding chair, small wooden cross, an old hymnal
- Built-in moments for music underscore and audience reflection
Best for
Anniversary Sundays of any milestone, founders’ weekend services, multi-generational gatherings where you want the older members honored and the younger ones inspired.
