Summary:
Ethan wants to bring a gift to the church Christmas service, but he feels embarrassed that all he has is a small handmade ornament. Surrounded by fancy wrapped boxes and generous donations, he worries his simple gift isn’t enough. But when the pastor sees the ornament and reminds him of the widow’s offering, Ethan learns that God doesn’t measure gifts by their size—He measures by the love in our hearts.
Tender, faith-filled, and perfect for children’s ministry or family services, The Gift That Wasn’t Enough beautifully captures the message that true giving is about love, not luxury. It’s easy to stage, emotionally powerful, and a meaningful addition to any Christmas program.
