Description

Three students, Jason, Lisa, and Tyler, have been skipping Bible study and need better excuses. They stumble upon "The Excuse Factory," a business that sells ridiculous excuses for avoiding church. The overenthusiastic salesperson offers them absurd reasons, from "My goldfish needs therapy" to "I get sunburned under fluorescent lights."

At first, the students are entertained, but they soon realize how silly it is to make excuses for avoiding time with God. In the end, they decide to stop making excuses and start making time for their faith. The skit ends with a reflection on Luke 14:18, reminding us that God doesn’t want our excuses—He wants us.
