WHAT
A dramatic, educational, and deeply biblical skit following the decree of Caesar Augustus, the crowds traveling for the census, and Mary and Joseph’s difficult journey from the town of Nazareth to the town of David, Bethlehem. Older students narrate and speak historical context while younger performers enact the scenes, creating a blend of Scripture, drama, and social-studies learning.
THEME
God works through history and even through governments to fulfill His promises.
The birth of Jesus took place at exactly the right moment in God’s perfect plan.
