The deacon board has called an emergency meeting. The crisis? Someone switched the regular coffee with decaf before Sunday's service — and the offering was down six hundred dollars. What starts as a hilarious debate about caffeine and church politics slowly becomes something none of them expected: an honest conversation about unity, grace, and what they're actually fighting about.
Theme — What we fight about is rarely what we are fighting for.
What you get
- Full PDF script — front matter, scenes, stage directions, dialogue (10 min runtime)
- Cast: 4–6 actors (Harold, Linda, Phyllis, Brother Tom)
- Minimal staging — one folding table, four chairs, one carafe
- Built-in Ephesians 4:2–3 verse anchor and quiet gospel turn
Best for
Smaller church gatherings, regular Sunday morning services, board retreats, leadership team devotionals — anywhere a room of grown-ups will laugh hard, then sit very still.
