A hilarious and fast-paced nativity “investigation” where two young detectives interview biblical witnesses to verify the events of the first Christmas. Through comedic interrogations—featuring a flustered shepherd, an overly dramatic towns-person, and a multilingual wise man—the detectives piece together the truth behind Jesus’ birth.

Discovering truth, understanding the Nativity, and learning that the birth of Jesus is the most important moment in history.

Detective Casey, Detective Riley, Mary, Joseph, Shepherd, Wise Man, Townsperson (optional extra shepherds or townspeople)
How:
Performed with minimal staging. The two detectives move from “HQ” to different interview spots as characters enter. Humor comes from misunderstandings, dramatic reactions, and the detectives’ over-serious investigative style.
Props:
Clipboards, detective badges, glass or magnifying glass, simple robes for biblical characters, a “diccionario inglés–español” for the Wise Man.
