This 10-minute Christmas skit blends humor, heart, and a message about worship, unity, and remembering the true meaning of Christmas. A group of kids and teens rehearse for their Christmas play using karaoke tracks, but everything goes hilariously wrong: microphones squeal, the music loads in the wrong language, and the karaoke machine switches to a summer beach soundtrack by mistake.
As chaos builds, the cast grows stressed, competitive, and confused. Some want to quit, others argue over who messed up the equipment, and a few keep trying to salvage the performance with improvised lyrics and silly dances.
Just when the rehearsal seems like a total disaster, a calm character, Grace, reminds the group that worship doesn’t need to be perfect. Christmas isn’t about flawless performances—it’s about praising God with a sincere heart and remembering the gift of Jesus. The group reunites, forgives each other, and ends with a simple, heartfelt chorus sung together.
The skit ends with a Scripture about joyful praise and unity, grounding the comedy in a meaningful reminder of why we celebrate Christmas.

Why
The skit ends with Psalm 100:1–2 – “Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth; come before Him with joyful singing.”
This verse reminds the group (and the audience) that God invites us to worship Him joyfully, not flawlessly, and that true Christmas praise is about our hearts toward Him, not the quality of our tech or performances.

-
A toy speaker or “karaoke box” on a small table at the center or side.

Open floor space where the kids can stand, dance, and move around.
