The Burnt Pancake Liturgy — Short Father’s Day Skit for Church (10 min)

A tender, funny diner skit in which a grown daughter and son meet for pancakes on Father’s Day morning, two years after their father’s funeral. Both refuse the syrup. The waitress finally asks why. At the next table a young dad with two kids is mid-meltdown over breakfast. The two stories braid together until the young dad slides his burnt pancake to his oldest, and the kid eats it without complaint.

Theme — Imperfect dads who showed up anyway are not failures; the heavenly Father uses the burned parts.
