Description

A youth group class gets assigned a “church project” where each student represents a different part of the Body of Christ. The roles sound fun until everyone realizes some parts feel more important, more visible, and more “main character” than others. The “Head” wants to lead and be admired, the “Mouth” wants to be heard constantly, the “Hands” want credit for doing the work, and the “Eyes” think they’re the only ones who can see what’s going on. Meanwhile, quieter roles like “Knees,” “Back,” and “Skin” start to feel overlooked, underestimated, or straight-up ignored.

As their planning turns into arguing, competition, and hurt feelings, a leader steps in, not to lecture, but to guide them through a hands-on experience that shows how the church only functions when every part works together. The students discover that value isn’t measured by visibility, and God’s design is unity with purpose. By the end, they learn to honor the roles they once dismissed and realize that in the Kingdom of God, every part matters.
