The Bethlehem Story Straight
Description
The Bethlehem Story Straight is a clear, warm, and reverent retelling of the night Christ was born. Designed for churches that want a simple and heartfelt Christmas presentation, this play blends strong narration with accessible dialogue for all ages. The story begins in Nazareth, where Gabriel brings God’s message to Mary, and Joseph wrestles with fear, doubt, and obedience.
The journey to Bethlehem unfolds with crowded paths, overflowing inns, and a humble stable that becomes the center of God’s greatest gift. Out in the fields, shepherds witness a glorious announcement from the angels and rush to meet the newborn King. Far from the East, wise men follow a heavenly star and arrive with gifts that reveal Jesus’ identity and purpose. The play ends with Mary and Joseph quietly reflecting on the promise God has placed in their care.
