Summary

In this lighthearted and heartwarming 10-minute Christmas play, Santa Claus accidentally lands in Bethlehem while delivering presents. Following what he believes is an emergency beacon, Santa stumbles into the nativity story—meeting shepherds, wise men, and finally Mary, Joseph, and the newborn Jesus.

Confused but cheerful, Santa mistakes the wise men for toy-shop supervisors and believes the shepherds are checking his “good list.” His sleigh is stuck in Bethlehem sand, he’s lost half his decorations, and King Herod’s palace guards nearly arrested him for “illegal sleigh parking.”

Through humorous misunderstandings, Santa slowly realizes the star isn’t calling him for work—it's calling him to witness the Savior’s birth. Inside the stable, Santa kneels, humbled, offering not toys but sincere joy. By the end, he discovers that the greatest Christmas gift began in a manger, and he sets off to spread joy inspired by the true Light of Christmas.

Perfect for schools, churches, mixed-age audiences, and settings that enjoy blending modern Christmas imagery with the timeless nativity message.
