WHAT
Ruth and the Redeemer is a child-friendly Bible skit based on the Old Testament story of Ruth. It tells the story of loyalty, kindness, and God’s quiet provision during hard times. Through simple dialogue and gentle humor, children learn how Ruth chose to stay with Naomi, how God provided food and protection through Boaz, and how God often works through ordinary people to care for others.
The skit introduces the idea of a redeemer in a way children can understand: someone who steps in to help, protect, and restore when things feel broken. This sets a strong foundation for understanding God’s faithfulness and care.
