Summary

A group of teens decides to make a fast social media video: “Palm Sunday to Resurrection Sunday in under a minute.” With a giant timer running, they try to cram the most important story in history into quick cuts, trendy lines, and chaotic casting decisions. Palm branches become props, the Last Supper becomes a snack table, and someone keeps asking if Mary Magdalene appears “at the end or in the credits.” The faster they rush, the more mixed-up and shallow it gets, until the story starts sounding like a confusing highlight reel instead of the gospel.

Right as the timer is about to hit zero, the Narrator stops everything and asks a question that lands: Why are we rushing the most important story we have? The tone shifts briefly from comedy to reflection as the Narrator reminds them that the resurrection isn’t content—it’s the foundation of faith. The timer stops. Silence. Then a teen speaks up with a better plan: “Let’s start over.”

Theme

The Easter story deserves more than a highlight reel.
