Description

Summary

“Love That Lasts” follows three couples in different seasons of marriage as their lives intersect at a church relationship night: Sam and Lila are newlyweds learning that love includes dirty dishes and misunderstood tones. Marco and Ana are parents running on caffeine and prayers, trying to stay connected while raising kids and managing chaos. Tito Ben and Tita Ruth have been married for decades, steady and funny, but even long love still requires humility, forgiveness, and choosing each other again.

Through a mix of light comedy and heartfelt moments, the couples face distractions, unmet expectations, and the quiet fear many spouses carry: “What if we stop showing up for each other?” A Narrator ties their journey to God’s faithful love, commitment, sacrifice, and daily choice, without turning it into a lecture. A brief biblical reflection mentions Isaac as an example of trust and obedience, pointing to a love that believes God is faithful even when life feels uncertain. The skit ends with a clear reminder: love isn’t only a feeling; it’s a decision you make again and again.
