Summary
“Light Shine Night” is a youth-led outreach moment connected to the Great Commission. A group of teens prepares to welcome guests, share short testimonies, pray with people, and invite friends to follow Jesus. Some students are excited and ready; others are nervous, embarrassed, or tempted to back out. One teen feels heavy peer pressure at school and fears being labeled “too churchy.” Another believes they’re unqualified because they don’t know enough Bible verses. Someone insists they need a supernatural “sign” before they speak about faith, preferably something involving thunder.
As they rehearse, comedy breaks out: awkward role-plays, an overconfident “evangelism strategy” that sounds like a sales pitch, and a teen practicing “dancing shoes choreography” for a dramatic “holy performance.” But the tone shifts when they realize people around them are actually hurting and searching. Instead of trying to be impressive, the group learns to be faithful, kind, honest, courageous, and obedient. By the end, they commit to live the gospel daily, not just at church, and to let their light shine in practical ways that point to Jesus.

God calls ordinary people to share an extraordinary message; faithfully, not flawlessly.
