Summary
A group of teens prepares for Youth Sunday, and what starts as excitement quickly turns into a tug-of-war for attention. Aiden wants the big speaking moment, Bella wants the spotlight for her song, and Juno wants everything “camera-ready” for social media. Meanwhile, CJ worries about sound and lighting, Faith tries to keep everyone on schedule, and Liam plays peacemaker between clashing personalities. In the background, Dana quietly serves, setting chairs, taping cables, and picking up what others drop, while feeling invisible and unimportant.
As arguments break out over who gets to lead, perform, and be seen, their youth leader, Ms. Rivera, steps in with a reminder from Jesus: “Let your light shine… so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father.” Through humor, honest conversations, and Scripture, the teens realize “shining” isn’t about impressing people, it’s about reflecting God in everyday faithfulness. By the end, the team learns that kindness, courage, and obedience often glow brightest offstage, and Youth Sunday becomes a celebration not of perfect teens but of faithful ones.
