Kind of Attention - Church Skits About Relationships
Description
Summary
Jules and Mara love each other deeply, but they keep arguing about one deceptively simple question: “What kind of attention actually matters?” Jules wants consistent texts and verbal check-ins. Mara wants real time together without phones. One day, they add physical affection and thoughtful actions into the debate, and suddenly every moment becomes a hilarious “love audit” where both are trying to prove they care… while accidentally proving they don’t understand each other.
A Narrator steps in like a translator, guiding them through warm, comedic scenarios that reveal a deeper truth: love isn’t just about your preferred kind of attention. Love is about presence, intentional listening, and choosing to show up in the way that matters to your spouse. Anchored in biblical truth about patience, kindness, and selfless love, the skit ends with both spouses learning that true attention is not loud or performative, it’s consistent, thoughtful, and personal.
