• Mary – Gentle, kind, hopeful, sometimes weary from the journey.

• Traveler 1 – Parent carrying belongings.

• Traveler 2 – Older child or sibling helping Traveler 1.

• Elder 1 – Kind senior, calm and wise.

• Elder 2 – Playful senior, encouraging and humorous.

• Young Shepherd – Friendly, energetic, helps guide Joseph and Mary.

• Innkeeper – Busy, overwhelmed, but not unkind.
