Summary:
Passion play begins in the Garden of Gethsemane after the Last Supper. Jesus wrestles in prayer while His disciples struggle to stay awake. Judas arrives with soldiers to betray Him, leading to His arrest and a midnight trial before the religious leaders. Peter, who once promised never to abandon Jesus, denies knowing Him three times in the high priest’s courtyard. This first part ends not with resolution, but with sorrow, failure, and the quiet conviction that love has already chosen the path of obedience.
