Summary

A group of teens steps into a makeshift “Evidence Room” like they’re filming an investigative documentary. On the tables are items labeled from the Easter story: linen cloths, a mock crown of thorns, written testimonies, and maps of Jerusalem. The mood starts playful, with clipboards, dramatic “detective” voices, and an argument over which evidence deserves the highest “credibility rating.” But underneath the jokes is a serious question: Did the resurrection really happen, or is it just a comforting religious story repeated for centuries?

A skeptical teen leads the questioning and pushes back on every claim. The others respond by presenting evidence and testimony: the empty tomb and the linen cloths left behind, Mary Magdalene’s reaction and her firsthand account, a Roman soldier’s statement, and the undeniable transformation in Jesus’ followers, from fear to bold faith. Humor breaks the tension when they debate “evidence ranking,” but the tone deepens as they realize this isn’t just history, it’s personal. By the end, the skeptic is quieter, not because he’s been “won” in an argument, but because the weight of truth and testimony has settled in his heart. He looks around the room and whispers, “This changes everything.”
