Description:

A traveling Christian drama group arrives at a run-down lodge the night before their big Passion Play performance. With broken props, a forgetful assistant, and a skeptical lodge owner, tensions run high. As they rehearse, they realize their struggles mirror the fears and doubts of the real disciples after Jesus' crucifixion. Through humor, frustration, and faith, they come to understand the power of the resurrection in a whole new way.

• SAM (Director) – Passionate but overwhelmed leader of the drama group.

• AMANDA (Production Assistant) – Well-meaning but always making mistakes (accidentally renames Barabbas “Barbecue”).

• JAMES (Lead Actor, plays Jesus) – Encouraging but nervous about getting his role right.

• LUCY (Stage Manager) – Practical and skeptical, the realist of the group.

• ETHAN (Plays Peter) – Struggles with self-doubt, mirroring the disciple Peter’s own struggles.

• MELANIE (Plays Mary Magdalene) – Kind-hearted but emotional about the play’s message.

• MR. BROWN (Lodge Owner) – Grumpy, thinks the group is wasting their time.

• NARRATOR – Helps connect the modern-day struggles to the biblical story.
