A gentle Bible-theatre retelling of 1 Samuel 16, where the prophet Samuel is sent to Bethlehem to anoint a new king. One by one, Jesse's tall, strong, impressive sons step forward — and one by one, God says no. The youngest, David, is out with the sheep, and his quiet heart is exactly what the LORD has been looking for all along.
Theme — God does not judge by how tall you stand or how strong you look — the LORD looks at the heart.

- Cast: 7 actors (Narrator, Samuel, Jesse, Eliab, Abinadab, Shammah, David)
