Summary
In this whimsical Christmas parody, Cinderella is ready for the royal ball—until her fairy godmother makes a heavenly mistake and sends her to Bethlehem instead. Confused but cheerful, Cinderella wanders into the very first Christmas (audience shouts “Merry Christmas!”), meeting shepherds, wisemen, an angel, and eventually Mary herself.
Throughout the skit, the audience is invited to join the fun by:
• shouting “Merry Christmas!” whenever they hear the word Christmas
• clapping three times whenever the angel of the Lord appears
• singing one line of a Christmas song whenever a bell sound is heard
Filled with laughter, simple rhymes, and gentle wonder, this skit helps young children celebrate the story of Jesus’ birth in a playful and memorable way.
