Summary
The House of David Inn has become the talk of Bethlehem — for all the wrong reasons.
After a string of terrible reviews (“zero stars,” “pillow felt like a bag of olives”), the over-worked Innkeeper and his sarcastic Assistant are desperate to restore the inn’s reputation before an infamous travel critic arrives.
As a census crowd floods the city, the lobby turns into a madhouse of bickering guests, lost luggage, and farm animals on the loose. Into this chaos walk Mary and Joseph, tired and expecting a child. With no rooms left, the Innkeeper scrambles to find them a spot — not realizing that the “overflow space” behind his inn will become the most important birthplace in history.
Through frantic comedy, sharp banter, and quiet moments of grace, Christmas at the Inn reminds audiences that holiness often hides in ordinary places, and that real hospitality begins with an open heart.
