Description

Summary

Theo, an energetic teen with big “entrepreneur” energy, shows up to youth night with a pop-up booth and a pitch: he’s going to “sell” the gospel like a product. He’s got a slogan, a fake limited-time offer, and even a binder of “Jesus scripts” that he claims guarantee success. Theo promises “bonus blessings,” “instant confidence,” and “no effort required,” treating salvation like a subscription service.

But the church drama team isn’t buying it. They challenge Theo with the parts his pitch keeps skipping: repentance, the cross, surrender, and the Great Commission. Theo panics and starts adding wild disclaimers like a privacy policy: “Results may vary,” “fruit of the Spirit not included,” and “cross-bearing sold separately.” The room erupts in laughter until a quiet student gently explains the gospel simply and sincerely. Theo realizes the good news isn’t something we market; it’s the truth that transforms us, and love that we live and share.
