One teen shows up to youth group determined to “share the gospel,” but with the energy of a late-night infomercial. They pitch Jesus like a product: “Limited-time deal! Say yes today and get bonus blessings!” They promise bundles, upgrades, and perks, trying to close the decision fast before anyone can ask questions. The room turns into a pretend sales floor, complete with imaginary order forms and exaggerated guarantees, until another teen finally pushes back with an honest question: “Is this real? Or are you just pitching me?”
That question stops the comedy cold in the best way. The youth leader steps in and explains what makes the gospel unlike anything else: it’s not a transaction, not a bribe, and not a performance. It’s grace, God’s gift offered through Jesus. The skit clearly states the message: eternal life is not earned by effort or purchased through promises; it’s received by faith because of what Jesus has done. The tone stays funny, but the ending lands with warmth and clarity, inviting teens to share the good news naturally, with love, instead of pressure.
