CAST OF CHARACTERS

• Narrator – gentle, warm, carries the story; helps guide the children

• Child Groups Representing Countries:

• Philippines

• Mexico

• Nigeria

• China

• Germany

• South Korea

• Brazil

• India

• Kenya

• United States

• And optional countries depending on number of kids

Each group has 1–4 children.

Costumes: paper hats, simple flags, scarves, toy instruments, traditional colors.

Movement: slow walks, little dances, waving flags, simple motions.

SETTING

A simple stage with:

• One big cardboard globe in the middle

• A manger off to one side

• Soft twinkling lights

• Flags taped to the backdrop

• Optional: children sit on “country mats” on the floor

Soft instrumental Christmas music plays as the audience settles.
