After a powerful Sunday message on love, a small group of church members gathers in the lobby, agreeing the sermon was “so good,” yet immediately slipping into impatience, criticism, and subtle judgment. A young man named Jay listens, bothered by the gap between what they praise in church and what they practice in real life. He finally asks a simple, uncomfortable question: “If love matters so much, what’s our plan of action?” The group goes quiet, because they have feelings about love, but not a plan.
The story then shifts into everyday scenes where love is tested: a family trying to forgive after a harsh argument, a man wrestling with bitterness he calls “justice,” and a woman exhausted from caring for others with little support. Each character knows what the Word says about love, but struggles to live it without burning out or pretending. The turning point comes when someone admits, “Love feels harder than faith,” and another answers, “That’s why we need the Holy Spirit, not willpower.” The skit ends with each person naming one concrete, daily act of love they will practice, turning belief into action.
