Christmas Helpers in Training
A Light Comedy Christmas Program for Preschoolers
Length: ~20 minutes
Cast: 8–15 preschoolers (plus optional adults/older kids as leader or Bible characters)
Style: Fun, values-based, easy-to-stage program
Synopsis
Christmas Helpers in Training turns your preschoolers into a “helper crew” learning how to get ready for the story of Jesus’ birth. Led by a warm, funny “Coach,” the children practice four simple “helper jobs”: Kindness, Sharing, Helping, and Welcoming. Through short skits, easy motions, and hands-on actions (like setting up the stable, passing a star, and welcoming Mary, Joseph, shepherds, and a wise person), they discover how these everyday values connect to the very first Christmas.
By the end, the children gather around the manger to say simple “Helper Pledges” to Jesus and shout a joyful “Merry Christmas!” to the congregation.
